Position: Assistant Professor – Physician Assistant
Brainware University, one of West Bengal’s fast-growing UGC-recognised private universities, will be offering over 70 UG, PG, and doctoral programmes to over 9,000 students from the upcoming academic session. Eligibility:-
Bachelor's degree / Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks in MSc Physician Assistant (MSc-PA), Masters in Public Health or other relevant allied health disciplines is Desirable, with a strong and consistent academic record.
1–2 years of teaching experience in a recognised institution and/or relevant industry experience for the post of Assistant Professor.
Desirable Skills:-
Strong subject knowledge with a student-centric teaching approach
Ability to deliver high-impact lectures using innovative and modern pedagogical techniques
Excellent student engagement and mentoring capabilities
Research orientation with experience in publishing scholarly articles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Out-of-the-box thinking with people and academic management abilities
Industry exposure and the ability to build industry–academia linkages
Key Responsibilities:-
Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate classes effectively
Identify and nurture student potential, encouraging innovation and applied learning
Mentor students for academic growth, research, and professional development
Build and strengthen academia–industry collaborations, including MoUs
Organise and contribute to seminars, workshops, outreach activities, and guest lectures
Support departmental academic planning and quality initiatives
