Server Engineer

Main Responsibilities
• Perform day-to-day System Administration related activities.
• Manage and perform daily, weekly, and monthly backups of servers.
• Monitor the health of all servers.
• Escalate hardware-related issues to designated vendors and coordinate till resolution.
• Coordinate with COE IT – JMD & RCP for day-to-day operations.
• Provide hourly and shift-wise reporting to EIC.

• Customer – Engineer In-Charge
• Site In-Charge
• SMO
• Head of Services
Challenges
• Learning new technologies in a dynamic environment.
• Handling multiple complaints simultaneously.
• Coordinating with various internal teams and escalating complaints to the respective team after proper diagnosis.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the industry.
• MCSA certification.
• Good knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Backups.
• Good knowledge of Server-Client Architecture.
• Good knowledge of Domain.
• Basic knowledge of Network, DHCP, DNS, Anti-Virus, and MS Patch Management.
• Time Management / Prioritization Skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and extended hours.
