Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Testing Engineer with strong experience in data validation, ETL/data warehouse testing, and database testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Snowflake or Databricks and be comfortable validating data across different layers of data pipelines.
Strong communication skills are mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data testing and validation across source, transformation, and target systems.
Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.
Perform ETL/Data Warehouse testing and verify data transformation logic.
Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
Identify, analyze, and report data defects and inconsistencies.
Work with development, data engineering, and business teams to understand requirements and resolve data issues.
Validate data pipelines and ensure expected data is loaded correctly into target systems.
Perform regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end data testing.
Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test data, and defect reports.
Participate in defect discussions and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
