Senior/Lead Go Engineer

For our client we are looking for a Senior Backend (Go) Engineer who combines strong backend development skills with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.
In this role, you will design and develop scalable backend services, build robust REST APIs, and ensure that applications are reliable, maintainable, and efficient. You will also work closely with Kubernetes and containerized environments, taking ownership of services throughout their full lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and ongoing improvement.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both application architecture and infrastructure, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and long-term code quality.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll create and develop Kubernetes Operators using Go & Operator SDK, implemented as microservices.
End-to-End Development: Design and develop high-performance web applications with a focus on high availability architectures and disaster recovery scenarios.
Infrastructure & Orchestration: Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes or Docker Swarm (including deployment, scaling, and health.
Requirements:
7+ years of professional experience in Backend development, with minimum 5 years of experience in Go.
Experience as a Tech lead/Team lead.
Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes.
Experience using Go & Operator SDK Experience with AWS. (proven experience developing and maintaining operators for managing resources in AWS)
Upper-Intermediate level of English
Would be a plus:
Proficiency in modern server-side languages such as Node.js, Python or Rust.
Experience with GCP or Azure.
