Job Title: Academic Counsellor / BDA – EdTech & IT Training

About the role: Innovative Academy is looking for a target-driven Academic Counsellor / BDA to convert student and professional enquiries into course admissions. The role involves understanding career goals, recommending suitable IT programs, explaining curriculum and career outcomes, following up consistently, handling objections and closing admissions.
Programs: Network Engineering, CCNA, Data Science, DevOps, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Cloud Technology and
Full Stack Development.
Key responsibilities:
• Call and counsel fresh leads through phone, WhatsApp and in-person/online discussions.
• Understand learner goals and recommend the right program.
• Explain curriculum, projects, fees, schedules, placement assistance and career pathways accurately.
• Conduct structured follow-ups and maintain lead status in the CRM/Google Sheet.
• Handle objections around fees, time, course choice, job outcomes and comparison with competitors.
• Convert qualified leads into demo/workshop visits and paid admissions.
• Achieve daily activity and monthly conversion/revenue targets.
Ideal candidate: Excellent communication, consultative selling, persistence, follow-up discipline, target orientation and genuine interest in education/technology careers. Prior EdTech or IT-training sales experience is strongly preferred.
Compensation: Fixed salary + performance incentives; final package based on experience and interview
performance.
