Position Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency across Deluxe Localization's Media Services ecosystem. Working closely with stakeholders from Subtitling (SUB), Dubbing (DUB), Order Management (OM), Scheduling, and Global Coordination Operations, you will identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and accelerate operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in Excel VBA development, process automation, Microsoft Copilot technologies, AI-powered solutions, and data integration with a solid understanding of operational workflows. You will serve as a bridge between business teams and technology solutions, translating operational challenges into scalable automation initiatives that drive measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities :
As an Automation & AI Solutions Developer in Global Coordination Ops, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain Excel VBA-based applications, automation tools, and workflow enhancements supporting Media Services operations.
• Build AI-driven solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and other approved enterprise technologies.
• Partner with Subtitling, Dubbing, Order Management, and Coordination teams to identify manual processes suitable for automation and digital transformation.
• Analyse operational workflows, process bottlenecks, and repetitive tasks to recommend scalable automation opportunities.
• Develop automated reporting and dashboard solutions that improve visibility into operational performance, KPIs, and service delivery metrics.
• Create integrations between business applications, reports, databases, and operational systems to improve data flow and eliminate manual intervention.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and translate operational needs into technical specifications.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs focused on AI adoption, Copilot-based productivity enhancements, and workflow automation.
• Test, validate, and deploy automation solutions while ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, user guides, process maps, and automation governance records.
• Provide troubleshooting support and continuous improvement recommendations for existing automation solutions.
• Collaborate with SMEs, Process Leads, Project Managers, and operational stakeholders to establish automation roadmaps and prioritize development initiatives.
• Monitor automation adoption rates, utilization metrics, and business impact to support ongoing optimization efforts.
• Stay informed on emerging AI, Microsoft Copilot, and automation technologies and recommend innovative applications within Media Services operations.
Skills and Attributes :
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in automation development, business process improvement, or techno-functional solution development.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA programming, macros, and automation scripting.
• Experience building solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and Microsoft Copilot technologies.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted workflow development, process automation frameworks, and enterprise productivity solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working with operational data, reporting systems, and workflow optimization initiatives.
• Understanding of task mining, process mapping, and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within media localization, content operations, project management, or workflow-driven environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Deluxe operational tools such as Fabrik, Sfera, ONE, or similar enterprise workflow platforms is an advantage.
• Strong documentation, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles, AI governance, and best practices for enterprise AI adoption.
• Ability to support adoption of automation solutions through stakeholder engagement, training, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Experience with AI prompt engineering, Copilot solution design, and AI-assisted productivity tools.
• Experience using data analysis and operational metrics to drive process optimization and business decision making.
• Strong business process analysis skills with experience documenting workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements.
• Ability to identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, AI Agents, or Generative AI development.
• Experience developing workflow bots, intelligent assistants, or automation solutions for operational teams.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, APIs, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, or cloud-based integrations will be added advantage
• Certification in Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Azure AI, or Automation technologies will be a plus
• Experience supporting large-scale operational transformation initiatives.
