Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Lead hotel safety compliance: Oversee health, food, fire, and environmental safety programs across designated hotels to ensure a safe experience for guests, team members, and visitors
Implement risk management practices: Apply company safety policies and proactively manage risks related to public health, accessibility, security, housing, and trading standards
Drive compliance and audits: Conduct regular safety and hygiene audits, fire tours, and system tests; document results and ensure follow-up to maintain full regulatory compliance.
Investigate and mitigate incidents: Lead investigations into food poisoning, accidents, and guest complaints; analyze data and implement corrective actions to reduce civil claims and improve safety outcomes
Manage contractor compliance: Partner with Facilities to monitor contractor activity and enforce safety standards throughout hotel operations
Deliver safety training: Facilitate food hygiene, fire safety, and other compliance training programs; provide coaching and formal instruction to managers and team members
Support environmental initiatives: Collaborate with environmental champions and hotel leadership to promote sustainability and ensure alignment with environmental policies
