About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to design, architect, and lead
the implementation of scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-effective cloud
solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS architecture, cloud
migration, infrastructure modernization, security, and enterprise-scale cloud
environments.
The role will involve working closely with engineering, security, DevOps, and business
stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into robust AWS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and architect enterprise-grade solutions on AWS.
• Define cloud architecture, infrastructure, networking, security, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Lead AWS cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
• Design solutions using services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS/ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway, CloudWatch, KMS, and AWS Organizations.
• Develop and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Establish cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance.
• Design secure architectures aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
• Work with DevOps/SRE teams on CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend modernization and optimization opportunities.
• Drive cloud cost optimization, performance improvement, and resource efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify architectural risks and define appropriate mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 12+ years of overall experience in IT/cloud infrastructure, with significant experience in AWS architecture.
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise AWS environments.
• Excellent understanding of AWS networking, security, IAM, compute, storage, databases, containers, serverless, and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of VPC, subnets, routing, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Load Balancers, DNS, and network security.
• Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and identity management.
• Hands-on understanding of Terraform/Cloud Formation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience with cloud migration and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.
• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, and architectural decision-making skills.
Preferred Certifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
