Associate - Finance & Accounting Operations

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate to oversee core financial processes, financial reporting, and vendor/customer communications. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in AP, AR, and GL, possess advanced MS Excel capabilities, and demonstrate exceptional Interpersonal skills to independently handle operations and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting Operations: Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) processes accurately and in a timely manner.
Month-End Close & Reporting: Lead month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and the preparation of core financial statements and management reports.
Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact to independently address and resolve customer and vendor queries.
Process Documentation: Take complete ownership of creating, maintaining, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation for all assigned accounting functions.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively across teams using clear communication and influencing skills to ensure operational compliance and smooth financial workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in finance and accounting operations.
Domain Knowledge: Strong expertise in AP, AR, GL, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis) is mandatory.
Communication & Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities.
Autonomy: Self-driven with a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
