About The Client
Our client is a premier VC-backed AI platform to transform preconstruction and estimating workflows for the construction industry. While driven by an exceptional outbound sales engine closing dozens of high-value deals each quarter, digital top-of-funnel acquisition remains completely greenfield. They are hiring their first Growth Engineer to take complete technical ownership of digital acquisition, marketing platforms, attribution pipelines, and programmatic search.
What You Will Own
Top-of-Funnel & Marketing Surfaces: Complete autonomy over the logged-out web stack, landing pages, signup flows, and web architecture. Your codebase, your deployment cycles, your call.
Full-Stack Growth Autonomy: Acting as the engineer, data analyst, and technical web designer for all growth initiatives, shipping polished funnels and inspecting performance metrics directly.
Product Collaboration: Partnering with core engineering to integrate growth experiments and data pipelines into the core platform when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Attribution & Infrastructure (First 30 Days): Build an end-to-end analytics pipeline tying every demo, pipeline opportunity, and closed-won revenue figure back to real digital acquisition channels and pages.
Programmatic Acquisition: Build programmatic SEO engines utilizing rich public municipal and state bid solicitations to capture inbound intent before competitors can reach prospects.
Rapid Experimentation: Ship conversion-optimized pages, funnels, and campaigns in days rather than weeks, prioritizing execution speed and measurable pipeline lift.
Workflow Automation: Integrate and automate operations across HubSpot, digital channels, and outbound tools using custom APIs, scripts, and AI agents.
AI-Native Engineering: Leverage AI coding assistants and autonomous agents across development, data extraction, and content generation to maximize output velocity
Qualification
8+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production web apps.
Strong Frontend Skills: Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Astro, and modern HTML/CSS.
Backend Adaptability: Open to working in Ruby on Rails (prior Rails experience is a bonus, not required).
Growth & Tracking Toolkit: Familiar with SEO, web analytics, and integrations like HubSpot, GA4, ads, and email tools.
AI-Fluent: Proven experience using AI coding tools and agents to build and ship software.
