Responsibilities
• Review security alerts and assist with initial investigation and triage
• Monitor account, endpoint, cloud, and application security signals
• Document incidents, findings, evidence, and remediation actions
• Support access reviews, vulnerability tracking, and security assessments
• Help maintain security policies, procedures, and response playbooks
• Research emerging threats and communicate relevant risks
• Promote secure practices through clear guidance and documentation
Qualification
Required
• Foundational understanding of networking, operating systems, and security concepts
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• High degree of integrity when handling sensitive information
• Ability to prioritise alerts and follow response procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Authorised to work in the United Kingdom
Preferred
• Degree, certification, coursework, or hands-on labs in cybersecurity or IT
• Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint security, identity, or vulnerability-management tools
• Knowledge of cloud security, common attack techniques, or security frameworks
• Security+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate, or a similar entry-level credential
