Job Title - Post Quantum Readiness (Cryptography) Consultant
Location - Remote
Role Type - Contract – 100 total hours, up to 10 hours/week
Must Have Skills:
Cryptography / PKI subject matter expertise with strong Post-Quantum Cryptography knowledge and the ability to provide strategic guidance on post-quantum readiness
Hands-on expertise across certificate management and encryption, with the depth to assess and advise on an enterprise cryptography program
Data governance expertise within a cryptography and cybersecurity context
Strong advisory and assessment capabilities, including reviewing complex documentation, assessing program structures, validating team composition, and confirming timeline estimates
Executive and client-facing consulting skills with the ability to collaboratively refine strategy and documentation
Responsibilities and Job Details:
Serve as a subject matter expert supporting a Post Quantum Readiness and Cryptography initiative
Review and assess substantial client documentation related to the proposed cryptography program
Evaluate the overall program structure and provide strategic recommendations for post-quantum readiness
Assess certificate management, encryption, PKI, and related cryptographic capabilities
Review data governance considerations as they relate to cryptography and security
Validate the proposed team structure and determine whether the appropriate skills and resources are represented
Review and validate proposed project timelines and level-of-effort estimates
Identify gaps, risks, and areas requiring additional consideration within the proposed program
Provide strategic guidance to client stakeholders and executives
Collaborate with the client to refine and strengthen program documentation and recommendations
Operate primarily in an advisory and assessment capacity rather than as a hands-on technical implementer
Engagement is scoped for approximately 100 total hours, with an expected commitment of up to 10 hours per week
