The Capacity Manager is responsible for ensuring that IT infrastructure, applications, and services have sufficient capacity to meet current and future business demands in a cost-effective manner. The role involves capacity planning, performance analysis, forecasting, monitoring, reporting, and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor infrastructure utilization and identify capacity bottlenecks.
Develop short-term and long-term capacity forecasts.
Create and present capacity planning reports and executive dashboards.
Analyze performance trends and recommend optimization strategies.
Work with application, infrastructure, network, and operations teams to assess capacity impacts of new projects.
Define capacity thresholds and establish proactive monitoring mechanisms.
Conduct capacity reviews and governance meetings with stakeholders.
Support performance testing activities and validate infrastructure readiness.
Ensure compliance with ITIL Capacity Management processes.
Drive automation initiatives for capacity reporting and forecasting.
Collaborate with service owners to optimize resource utilization and control costs.
Provide recommendations for hardware, software, and cloud capacity upgrades.
Experience
6 to 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Capacity Planning and Performance Management.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and reporting tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk,
