Role Description The Site Engineer will oversee daily on-site activities for construction and design implementation at project locations in Bengaluru South. This contract role involves supervising civil and structural works, monitoring quality control, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The Site Engineer will conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical issues, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to project managers and design teams. The role also includes collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that sustainable and holistic design principles are accurately translated into the built environment.
Qualifications
On-site project supervision and coordination skills, including experience managing field activities and site logistics.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Quality control and inspection skills, with the ability to enforce standards, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Structural engineering knowledge and practical experience applying engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
Background as a civil engineer or equivalent, with understanding of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; relevant certifications in site management or safety are an advantage.
Proficiency in reading drawings and technical documents; familiarity with basic design and project management software.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a focus on sustainability and safety.
