Senior Java Developer

You'll architect and own backend systems that are built to scale distributed, event-driven, and cloud-native. This is a hands-on role where your decisions shape the stack, not just execute on it.
Responsibilities:
Design and build microservices on Java + Spring Boot for complex, enterprise-grade systems.
Build RESTful APIs that are performant, reliable, and well-documented.
Implement event-driven pipelines using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Work with distributed databases Cassandra, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
Drive security, caching strategies, and fault-tolerance patterns across services.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps on production stability.
Lead code reviews, mentor peers, and define engineering best practices.
Requirements:
8+ years of backend engineering, with deep Java (Java 8+) and Spring ecosystem experience.
Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring MVC not just familiarity.
Strong grasp of microservices design patterns, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
Production experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring/observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or similar.
Comfortable with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar).
You've shipped features at scale and dealt with production incidents, not just dev/test environments.
