About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
We’re looking for a strong Product UI/UX Designer to help redesign Fazier, a platform where founders launch and discover startups, SaaS products, and side projects.
Fazier is already live and growing. This is not a blank-canvas project.
We already have:
Existing product screens
Annotated screenshots and references
Clear product requirements
Existing user flows
A frontend developer who will implement the designs
We need someone who can take these ideas and turn them into a clean, consistent, polished product experience.
What you’ll work on
The initial redesign will focus on key areas such as:
Homepage and product discovery
Product detail pages
Launch leaderboard
Community/feed
Founder and user profiles
Product submission flow
User dashboard
Navigation and search
Comments and discussions
Sponsor and premium product placements
Responsive/mobile layouts
You’ll also help us establish a reusable Fazier design system covering typography, spacing, buttons, cards, forms, tabs, badges, modals, dropdowns, navigation, feed components, comments, voting elements, and other core UI patterns.
How we work
We move fast.
You will often receive annotated screenshots like:
Use this layout, but move this section here.
Take this interaction from LinkedIn.
Use this leaderboard concept from Peerlist.
Keep the overall Fazier design minimal and consistent.
We are not looking for someone who simply copies screenshots into Figma.
We want someone who can understand the product idea, improve the UX, challenge weak decisions when necessary, and turn rough concepts into polished interfaces.
What we’re looking for
You should have:
Strong SaaS/product UI portfolio
Excellent Figma skills
Experience creating reusable design systems
Strong understanding of typography, spacing and visual hierarchy
Experience designing responsive web applications
Good understanding of interaction design
Ability to work with existing products instead of only greenfield projects
Experience preparing developer-ready designs
Ability to think through edge cases, empty states, loading states and different content lengths
Design direction
We’re aiming for something that feels:
Clean. Minimal. Dense where useful. Fast. Product-first.
We like the simplicity of Peerlist, the information structure of LinkedIn, the community interactions of Twitter/X, and the launch mechanics of Product Hunt, but we want Fazier to have its own visual identity.
Initial engagement
We’d likely start with approximately 5–8 core screens + the design system.
If the collaboration works well, there will be ongoing design work as we continue expanding Fazier.
How to apply
Please send:
Your portfolio
2–3 SaaS/web products you personally designed
Your rate or expected project cost
Your availability
Your Figma profile if applicable
Please do not send graphic-design-only portfolios. We’re specifically looking for strong product UI/UX work.
