Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Study Abroad Telecaller role based in Kochi. The telecaller will connect with prospective students and families via phone, explain study abroad options, and provide clear information about courses, destinations, eligibility, and application processes. Responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, maintaining call logs and student databases, scheduling counseling appointments, and following up on leads to ensure timely conversion. The role also involves coordinating with counselors and admission teams, sharing updates on applications and documentation, and supporting students with basic queries on visas, scholarships, and timelines. The telecaller is expected to meet daily calling targets, adhere to communication guidelines, and represent Gradiks Global in a professional and supportive manner.
Qualifications
Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and confidently over phone.
Customer service and relationship-building skills, including patience, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach when dealing with students and parents.
Basic knowledge of study abroad processes such as admissions, courses, destinations, visas, and scholarships (or willingness to learn quickly).
Proficiency in using phones, CRM systems, and basic computer tools (MS Office, email, spreadsheets) for call tracking and data entry.
Fluency in English and local languages (such as Malayalam or Hindi) to effectively communicate with diverse student populations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple calls, follow-ups, and tasks efficiently.
Prior experience in telecalling, counseling, or education consultancy is an advantage but not mandatory.
Minimum educational qualification: graduate or diploma in any field; interest in education and international opportunities is highly valued.
