Role: Senior SAP ECC / BW Technical-Functional Lead
Experience: 12+ Years
Duration: 6 Months
Working Time:- 12:00 PM to 09:00 PM IST
Location :- Remote
Rate: 1.6 to 1.8 LPM
Key Responsibilities
• Own the on-site technical-functional SAP landscape, including architecture, custom developments, integrations and business-critical processes.
• Quickly understand and reverse-engineer the existing ECC environment, particularly where documentation or institutional knowledge is limited.
• Provide senior-level production support / AMS, including incident and problem management, RCA, troubleshooting, enhancements and resolution of business-critical issues.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across ABAP, interfaces, jobs, RFCs, extractors, batch processes and third-party integrations.
• Provide strong technical leadership across SAP BW, including data flows, extractors, transformations, loads and ECC-BW dependencies.
• Provide hands-on ABAP debugging, development, enhancement and technical troubleshooting.
• Understand and navigate cross-module dependencies, particularly MM, SD/AFS and FICO.
• Work effectively to drive issues through to resolution.
• Knowledge Recovery & Retention
The individual will be expected to:
• Document the SAP landscape, architecture, processes and integrations.
• Create system/process flows, integration maps, runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
• Capture critical technical and functional knowledge.
• Conduct structured KT sessions with the offshore SAP team.
• Identify and close knowledge gaps to establish a sustainable long-term support model.
Preferred Experience
• Strong SAP ECC, ABAP and BW experience.
• SAP AFS / Apparel & Footwear experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in Apparel, Fashion, Retail or Consumer Products environments.
• Strong production support / AMS background in complex SAP landscapes.
• Experience with multiple external systems and complex integrations.
• Strong understanding of MM / Material Master, SD/AFS and FICO environments.
• Experience working with distributed/onshore-offshore SAP teams
Ideal Candidate
We are not looking for one person to be an expert across every SAP module. We are looking for an exceptionally strong senior technical-functional SAP leader who can:
• Bring deep ECC, ABAP and BW expertise.
• Understand and navigate the broader SAP landscape.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Trace interfaces and cross-system dependencies.
• Act as the senior on-site SAP anchor.
• Recover, document and transfer critical SAP knowledge.
• Effectively leverage offshore SMEs for specialist functional areas.
Critical Deployment Notes
Compliance: For the background verification (BGV) process, PAN card and Aadhaar card of the proposed resources will be required.
