Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and enhance Oracle Retail MFCS/RMS applications.
Participate in end-to-end MFCS implementations, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs and deliver scalable technical solutions.
Develop and maintain integrations between MFCS and external applications using REST APIs, Kafka, OIC, and Middleware/ESB.
Develop database components and customisations using PL/SQL.
Develop and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for application processing and automation.
Develop solutions using Oracle APEX where required.
Work with JSON/XML for data exchange and system integrations.
Troubleshoot application and integration issues and provide effective technical solutions.
Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to validate requirements and solution designs.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, production support, and technical documentation.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve development productivity, code quality, testing, and delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the implementation, development, and enhancement of Oracle Retail Merchandising applications, including MFCS, RMS, RPM, ReSA, and ReIM.
Experience in at least one end-to-end Oracle Retail MFCS implementation is mandatory.
Proven experience in translating business requirements into functional and technical designs, and driving them through development and deployment.
Hands-on experience in leveraging AI-assisted development tools and practices is mandatory.
Strong technical skills in PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle APEX development, REST
APIs, Kafka, Middleware/ESB concepts , JSON/XML and OIC ( Oracle Integration cloud)
Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams to validate business requirements, system configurations, and solution designs.
