About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Data Analytics Manager / Inhouse Consultant (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team in Kötz. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building, supporting, and advancing our data and analytics platform based on SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing a robust data foundation for reporting, artificial intelligence, and Generative AI use cases. You will oversee the operation and support of our business intelligence and data platforms, ensuring seamless data integration, modeling, and visualization to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
This role offers the opportunity to lead transformation projects, such as migrating from BW 7.5 to SAP BDC/Datasphere/SAC, and to ensure our data platform's AI-readiness, including support for GenAI and LLM use cases. You will collaborate closely with external service providers, manage quality and acceptance processes, and contribute to innovative projects that leverage the latest in data and AI technologies. Your work will directly impact our ability to harness data for business insights and operational excellence.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in (business) informatics, economics, or a comparable field. You should have several years of professional experience (approximately 3-4 years) in SAP BW environments, with a strong interest in data, reporting, and analytics within SAP ecosystems such as BW, Datasphere, and SAC. Enthusiasm for data modeling, integration, and modern reporting architectures is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a structured, solution-oriented approach, with a keen interest in standards, data quality, and governance.
Open-mindedness towards emerging technologies, especially AI and Generative AI applications, is highly desirable. Additional experience in SAP, BI, controlling, or IT-related areas is advantageous. The role requires proactive initiative, eagerness to learn, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Fluent proficiency in both German and English is necessary to succeed in this international environment.
Responsibilities
Design, support, and further develop the data and analytics platform based on SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere to meet evolving business needs.
Establish comprehensive data foundations for reporting, artificial intelligence, and Generative AI use cases, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Manage the operation and ongoing support of business intelligence and data platforms, including troubleshooting and optimization.
Perform data integration, modeling, and transformation tasks within SAP Datasphere to facilitate advanced analytics.
Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the data platform, implementing best practices and standards.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, managing quality assurance and acceptance processes for delivered solutions.
Lead and oversee transformation projects, such as migrating from BW 7.5 to SAP BDC/Datasphere/SAC, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
Work towards enhancing the AI-readiness of our data platform, supporting initiatives involving GenAI and large language models.
Contribute to innovative AI/ML projects, providing technical expertise and strategic insights to leverage data effectively.
