Site Civil Engineer

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team and help deliver exceptional spaces.
Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing on-site civil works for Urbando’s development projects in Chennai in a full-time capacity. Daily responsibilities include supervising construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal project teams. The role involves monitoring quality, safety, and timelines, conducting site inspections, and resolving technical issues related to civil works, utilities, and infrastructure. The Site Civil Engineer will support planning and execution of earthworks, foundations, stormwater drainage, and other structural and site development elements, while preparing progress reports and supporting compliance with local regulations and standards. This is an on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close, regular presence at project locations.
Strong hands-on experience in managing residential projects of all types, including high-rise apartments, luxury villas, gated communities, and plot layouts. Experience in commercial construction will be considered an added advantage.
Qualifications
SB.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Complete end-to-end site management skills, including quality control, material management, safety standards, subcontractor supervision, and timeline tracking.
