Role: QA Engineer / QA Automation Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect-tracking tools.
Execute test cases and maintain test documentation, test reports, and quality metrics.
Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web applications.
Work with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Teams to understand requirements and ensure quality.
Analyze application logs and database information to troubleshoot and validate defects.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process.
Identify opportunities to improve test coverage through automation.
Explore and utilize AI-powered QA/testing tools to improve test-case generation, test automation, defect analysis, and overall testing efficiency.
Stay updated with emerging AI in Software Testing / AI-QA practices and tools.
Required Skills:
3–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
Hands-on experience with Automation Testing.
Knowledge of Playwright and/or Selenium.
Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation.
Experience with API Testing and tools such as Postman
Experience with defect-management tools such as Jira or similar.
Understanding of Git/GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD concepts.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Familiarity with AI tools and Generative AI concepts, particularly their application in software testing.
Good analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in developing or maintaining an automation framework.
Knowledge of CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
Experience with AI-assisted testing tools or LLM-based QA workflows.
Knowledge of performance or security testing would be an added advantage.
