Role Description The Power System Engineer (0–5 years) will perform power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, stability, and protection coordination analyses for industrial and utility clients. Responsibilities include supporting root cause analysis of power system events, preparing technical reports, and contributing to conceptual designs for power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. The role involves reviewing and interpreting electrical single-line diagrams, system configurations, and equipment specifications, as well as assisting senior engineers in project execution and client communication. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with engineering teams to deliver accurate and timely project deliverables.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of Power Systems and Electric Power.
Ability to perform and interpret Power System Studies, including analysis for reliability, safety, and performance.
Understanding of Power Generation concepts and related equipment, such as generators, transformers, and switchgear.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
0–5 years of relevant experience in power systems engineering, consulting, or industrial projects.
Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSS/E or similar) is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
