About the role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to help build and scale a new voice-agent platform for long survey operations.
You will work across the frontend and backend, build user-facing product features and APIs, and work closely with the AI Engineer and Business Analyst to take features from requirements through production.
What you will do
• Build the human-agent console, including call handoffs, browser-based calling, live survey context, transcript display, and answer capture.
• Build the supervisor console, including agent status, active calls, queue information, call outcomes, and supervisor monitoring capabilities.
• Build the script studio that turns questionnaires into configurable call flows, including branching, validation, and version management.
• Build dashboards and reports covering metrics such as completion rates, break-offs, handoffs, anomalies, and other operational data required by the client's analysts.
• Design and build the APIs and webhooks that connect the application with telephony services, the voice-agent platform, and data stores.
• Build real-time functionality for call and agent activity where required.
• Write automated tests and maintain code quality across the frontend and backend.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's engineering standards and practices.
• Ship features through the development and CI pipeline and take ownership of them through production.
Minimum qualifications
• 6+ years of experience building production web applications across both frontend and backend.
• Strong TypeScript or JavaScript experience with React, along with strong Python experience using FastAPI, Django, or a similar backend framework.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and API design.
• Experience building and operating real-time application features using WebSockets, event streams, or similar technologies.
• Experience writing automated tests and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to take ownership of a feature from requirements through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience building browser-based calling or softphone functionality using WebRTC, Twilio Client, or similar technologies.
• Experience working on contact-center, survey, workflow, or form-builder products.
• Experience building operational dashboards and data visualizations.
• Experience building accessible, intuitive interfaces in environments without a dedicated full-time designer.
