Role Description This is a full-time Deployment Specialist role based in Bengaluru, offered in a hybrid model that combines on-site work with some work from home flexibility. The Deployment Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software deployments across staging and production environments, ensuring smooth releases with minimal disruption. Daily activities include reviewing deployment requirements, configuring environments, performing pre- and post-deployment checks, and resolving technical issues that arise during or after implementation. The role involves collaborating closely with development, QA, support, and project management teams to validate release readiness, maintain deployment documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes. The specialist will also provide training and guidance to internal teams and clients on deployment procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for interpreting deployment requirements, assessing risks, and optimizing release processes.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support capabilities to diagnose and resolve deployment-related issues quickly.
Candidates should possess Training skills to educate internal teams and clients on tools, workflows, and deployment best practices.
Experience with software deployment tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar) is beneficial.
Familiarity with hosting environments, basic networking concepts, and application monitoring is advantageous.
Prior experience in software implementation, DevOps, or application support roles is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
