About the Role
The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving the overall business performance of the branch, including client acquisition, revenue generation, team management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role requires strong leadership skills, market knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Drive branch revenue through acquisition of retail, HNI, and corporate clients.
Achieve branch-wise sales and business targets across Equities, Derivatives, Commodities, Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, Insurance, and other financial products.
Develop and execute local business development strategies to increase market share.
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and motivate Relationship Managers, Dealers, and Sales Executives.
Monitor team productivity and ensure achievement of individual and branch targets.
Conduct regular reviews, training, and performance discussions.
Client Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and HNIs.
Address escalations and provide timely resolutions to client concerns.
Enhance client engagement and retention through superior service delivery.
Branch Operations & Compliance
Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations.
Maintain compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, CDSL, NSDL, and company policies.
Monitor KYC, account opening, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Market & Business Analytics
Track market trends and provide investment insights to clients and teams.
Analyze branch performance metrics and implement corrective actions when required.
Prepare MIS reports and business reviews for management.
Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
NISM Certifications preferred.
MBA (Finance/Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Capital Markets and Stock Broking products.
Leadership and team management skills.
Business development and client acquisition expertise.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Stock Broking, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in a team handling or branch management role.
Pay range and compensation package
5 to 10+ years of experience in Stock Broking, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.
