Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at ShotiqueMedia. The Video Editor will work closely with creative and marketing teams to edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, campaigns, and branded content. Daily tasks include assembling and trimming footage, applying transitions and effects, performing color correction and color grading, integrating motion graphics and titles, and optimizing videos for various platforms. The role also involves collaborating on storyboards, aligning edits with brand guidelines and client feedback, managing project files and media assets, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including assembling footage, cutting sequences, and structuring narratives.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone and style across projects.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations that enhance storytelling.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar).
Strong visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to interpret creative briefs and client feedback constructively.
Effective time management, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and comfort collaborating with distributed teams.
Prior experience editing content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) and understanding of aspect ratios and export settings.
Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
