Position: DB2 Database Administrator

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced DB2 DBA with strong expertise in DB2 (UDB) and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have experience supporting enterprise databases and working with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, administer, and maintain DB2 UDB databases.
Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
Manage database availability, security, access, and capacity.
Support PostgreSQL database environments and related administration activities.
Work with AWS and/or GCP cloud-based database environments.
Perform database migration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot database performance and production issues.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure database reliability and availability.
Implement database best practices for security, performance, backup, and disaster recovery.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with DB2 UDB / DB2 Database Administration.
Good experience with PostgreSQL administration.
Knowledge of Cloud technologies, preferably AWS or GCP.
Experience in database backup, recovery, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of database security and high-availability concepts.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
