Scale Pledge is an influencer marketing agency that connects brands with relevant creators to build effective influencer partnerships and campaigns.
As we continue to grow our operations, we are looking for a Recruiter Intern to support our current and upcoming hiring needs.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, project-based internship for someone who already has foundational knowledge of recruiting or talent acquisition and is looking to gain practical experience.
You will work directly with and report to the Founder/CEO, helping manage the recruiting cycle from understanding hiring needs and sourcing candidates to screening, interviewing, shortlisting, and candidate coordination.
This role is designed to provide real ownership and hands-on experience. Rather than primarily shadowing someone throughout the internship, you will have opportunities to manage recruiting projects, test different approaches, solve problems independently, and learn through execution.
The expected commitment is approximately 8–10 hours per week. Because the internship is project-based and dependent on current hiring needs, workload and responsibilities may vary from week to week.
Responsibilities
• Work directly with the Founder/CEO to understand hiring needs and role requirements
• Assist with developing job descriptions and candidate profiles
• Post and manage open positions across relevant platforms
• Source candidates through LinkedIn and other appropriate channels
• Review applications and resumes
• Screen candidates based on established requirements
• Conduct or assist with initial screening interviews
• Develop screening and interview questions
• Shortlist qualified candidates for further consideration
• Coordinate candidate communication, interviews, and follow-ups
• Maintain an organized candidate pipeline and track recruiting progress
• Provide candidate updates and insights to the Founder/CEO
• Assist with offer and onboarding coordination when applicable
• Test different sourcing and recruiting approaches and evaluate results
• Help improve and document recruiting processes and workflows
• Take ownership of assigned recruiting projects from beginning to end
Preferred Qualifications
• Foundational knowledge of recruiting, HR, talent acquisition, or candidate sourcing
• Basic understanding of the recruitment lifecycle
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and online candidate sourcing
• Ability to review resumes and evaluate candidates against role requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate professionally with candidates
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects
• Willingness to test approaches, learn from results, and continuously improve
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and recruiting stages
Previous professional recruiting experience is not required. Knowledge gained through coursework, certifications, independent study, or personal projects is welcome.

This is especially suited for someone looking to build their portfolio through real projects rather than primarily learning through observation. You should be comfortable taking ownership of your work, researching solutions independently, testing different approaches, and learning from the results.
