Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in Karnal. The Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily production and technical operations, including monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth workflow on the shop floor. The role involves preparing and reviewing technical documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting implementation of process improvements. The Engineer will participate in quality checks, support compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and assist in optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency. The position also includes collaborating with management to plan maintenance schedules, support new projects, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong engineering fundamentals and practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in production or manufacturing processes, including understanding of workflow optimization, equipment operation, and basic maintenance practices.
Candidates should possess skills in quality and safety, such as familiarity with quality standards, inspection methods, and adherence to workplace health and safety protocols.
Candidates should possess communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, prepare clear reports, and coordinate with supervisors and operators.
Candidates should possess organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and support project timelines.
Relevant technical degree or diploma in Engineering (such as Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field) is preferred.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment will be an advantage.
Comfort with using basic computer applications and, where applicable, engineering or ERP software is beneficial.
