BACKBENCHERS Cafe is looking for an experienced and passionate Continental Chef to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who is confident with Continental cuisine, maintains high food-quality standards, and can bring creativity and consistency to our kitchen.
👨‍🍳 Position: Continental Chef
📍 Location: Kharar, Mohali, Punjab
🏠 Accommodation: Provided
🍽️ Food: Provided
💼 Employment: Full-time
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present a variety of Continental dishes with consistent taste and quality
• Manage daily kitchen operations and food preparation
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food-safety standards
• Ensure proper portion control and minimize food wastage
• Manage ingredients, stock, and kitchen requirements
• Contribute new dish ideas and improve the menu where required
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service jteam for smooth operations
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and plating
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Continental Chef is preferred
• Good knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques
• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cafe environment
• Creativity, discipline, and a positive attitude
