Overview
Vyrian is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to support our growing finance team. This role focuses on managing core accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on accounts receivable and collections, as well as accounts payable. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial transactions, while collaborating across departments to support the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Record and manage financial transactions, including accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.
Conduct timely and accurate reconciliations of financial accounts, ensuring alignment with bank statements and internal records.
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain clean and compliant financial records.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting tasks.
Monitor and verify the accuracy of transactions to detect and report any irregularities or potential fraud.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Maintain orderly documentation of all financial transactions and related reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless financial operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a professional accounting role, with a strong focus on receivables, collections, and payables.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience of professional experience in income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash-flow.
Proficient in QuickBooks Online and advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables and data analysis.
Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to identify discrepancies in data.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information.
