Role Description The Vice President of Financial Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial planning, reporting, and performance management. This role involves leading the development of budgets and long-term financial forecasts, monitoring financial results, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership. The Vice President will review and interpret financial statements, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and support risk management and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing key financial metrics, optimizing capital allocation and liquidity, collaborating with business units on financial decision-making, and managing relationships with external financial partners and advisors. The role also includes mentoring finance team members, enhancing financial processes and systems, and contributing to overall business strategy.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in corporate financial management and strategic decision support.
Expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Ability to interpret and manage Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and meaningful analysis.
Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating financial performance, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven recommendations.
Proven experience in asset finance, leasing, or related financial services is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is an advantage.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing remote teams and collaborating across functions.
