Role Description The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for driving sales growth and market development for Ecoair’s cooling solutions. This role includes managing regional sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with industrial and commercial clients. The Regional Sales Manager will oversee the sales pipeline, conduct product presentations and site visits, and collaborate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions. Daily activities involve negotiating contracts, guiding channel partners and distributors, monitoring competitor activity, and preparing regular sales forecasts and reports. The role also includes mentoring the regional sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting strategic initiatives that strengthen Ecoair’s presence in the market.
Qualifications
Proven skills in regional sales management, business development, and account management in industrial or HVAC-related products.
Experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing complex B2B deals.
Ability to analyze market trends, develop territory plans, and manage sales forecasting and reporting.
Competence in coordinating with technical and operations teams to deliver customized solutions and post-sale support.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages as relevant.
Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office, and digital sales enablement platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in industrial cooling, ventilation, or related engineering products is highly desirable.
Ability to work on-site across the Pune Division, travel within the region, and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
