Role Description This is a full-time on-site Commercial Pilot role based in Mumbai. The Commercial Pilot will operate company aircraft on scheduled and charter flights, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations from pre-flight planning through post-flight procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, reviewing weather and flight plans, coordinating with air traffic control and ground staff, and managing navigation and communication systems during flight. The pilot will monitor aircraft performance, manage fuel and weight calculations, follow standard operating procedures, and respond appropriately to changing conditions and in-flight contingencies. The role also involves maintaining accurate flight documentation, participating in recurrent training and safety programs, and representing the company professionally in all passenger and client interactions.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with appropriate ratings and endorsements for the aircraft type operated.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, airspace procedures, and standard operating practices, including safety and emergency protocols.
Demonstrated experience in flight planning, navigation, and the use of modern avionics and flight management systems.
Excellent situational awareness, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under varying flight conditions.
Clear and effective communication skills for coordination with crew, air traffic control, and ground operations.
Ability to work within a team-oriented cockpit environment, following checklists and collaborative procedures.
Good physical fitness and the ability to meet medical certification requirements for commercial flight operations.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training, proficiency checks, and safety audits.
Experience with commercial or charter operations and familiarity with regional routes in and out of Mumbai is an advantage.
