Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer based in Surat. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, including supervising construction work, coordinating with sub contractors , labours and vendors, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, setting out works, monitoring material usage, and supporting planning and scheduling to keep projects on track. The role involves conducting site inspections, preparing progress reports, addressing technical issues as they arise, and collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. The Site Civil Engineer is expected to maintain accurate documentation and support quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills for interpreting plans, specifications, and technical documents.
Experience working as Civil Engineers, with the ability to oversee site activities and coordinate with project teams.
Planning skills to assist with scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking on construction projects.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure for site development and drainage design.
Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in basic engineering and construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) and familiarity with site measurement tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Surat.
Understanding of safety standards, quality control procedures, and local construction regulations; prior site experience is an advantage.
