Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Jaipur. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production, including assembling raw footage, selecting clips, and creating cohesive, compelling video narratives for client and in-house projects. Daily tasks include editing video content, synchronizing audio, applying basic and advanced transitions, and optimizing videos for different platforms and formats. The role also involves close collaboration with directors, producers, and designers to refine concepts, incorporate feedback, and maintain brand and style guidelines. The Video Editor will ensure timely delivery of projects, manage multiple timelines, and contribute creative ideas to improve visual storytelling.
Qualifications
Strong video production skills, including understanding of camera footage, shot composition, and basic production workflows.
Proficiency in video editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Experience in video color grading and color correction to achieve consistent, polished visuals across projects.
Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphic elements (e.g., titles, lower thirds, overlays) to enhance storytelling.
Solid sense of pacing, narrative structure, and sound design, with attention to detail and visual continuity.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interpret creative briefs and respond constructively to feedback.
Capability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized file and asset management practices.
Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, or a related field is beneficial; prior studio or agency experience is an advantage.
