Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Dentist based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The General Dentist will perform routine examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and provide treatments such as restorations, root canal therapy, extractions, and preventive care. Daily responsibilities include managing patient consultations, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The role also involves educating patients on oral hygiene, coordinating with orthodontic and implant specialists on complex cases, and participating in follow-up care to support long-term oral health outcomes.
Qualifications
Recognized dental degree (BDS or equivalent) and valid license/registration to practice dentistry.
Clinical proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including restorations, endodontics, extractions, and preventive care.
Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop clear, patient-friendly treatment plans.
Knowledge of infection control standards and safe clinical practices in a dental setting.
Effective communication skills and a respectful, inclusive approach to working with diverse patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively with orthodontic and implant specialists and other dental staff.
Comfort with dental practice management workflows; familiarity with digital radiography and dental software is an advantage.
Willingness to continuously update clinical knowledge and techniques through professional development.
Prior experience in a busy clinical environment is preferred but motivated early-career dentists are encouraged to apply.
