Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in McDonough, GA. This role oversees day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. The Human Resources Manager will manage recruitment and onboarding processes, support training and development initiatives, and help cultivate an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture. Daily responsibilities include advising managers on HR best practices, maintaining accurate HR records, coordinating benefits and compensation processes, and supporting change management and organizational development efforts. The role requires close collaboration with leadership and staff to ensure consistent and equitable HR practices across the location.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
Proficiency in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
Ability to support training, learning, and development programs that enhance employee skills and engagement.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with attention to detail in HR documentation and reporting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience using HRIS and related HR technology tools to manage employee data and processes.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including application in a multi-site or corporate environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
Prior experience in an HR manager or senior HR generalist role, ideally in a corporate or operations-focused setting.
