Vice President of Property Management

Role Description
The Vice President of Property Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and strategy of a multi-property real estate portfolio. This role manages property management teams, sets operational standards, and ensures consistent execution of policies, procedures, and service expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring property financials, approving budgets, guiding capital and maintenance plans, and driving occupancy, rent growth, and resident satisfaction. The Vice President collaborates with asset management and ownership groups on long-term portfolio strategies, prepares performance reports, and recommends improvements based on market and operational data. The role also includes mentoring leaders, supporting professional development, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Strong Property Management experience, including oversight of multiple sites and teams.
Background in Commercial Real Estate with familiarity in leasing, tenant relations, and market analysis.
Demonstrated proficiency in Budgeting, including operating and capital budgets and financial reporting.
Experience in Asset Management, focusing on value creation, risk management, and long-term strategy.
Portfolio Management skills, including performance optimization across diverse property types.
Proven leadership ability with experience managing managers and cross-functional teams remotely.
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail.
Comfort with property management software, financial modeling tools, and data-driven performance metrics.
Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, RPA) are beneficial.
