Role Description The Data Analyst will support FLS JGU by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data related to events, workshops, member engagement, and society initiatives. In this full-time on-site role, located in the Greater Hyderabad Area, the Data Analyst will develop dashboards and reports, perform statistical analysis, and create data models to inform decision-making and measure impact. Responsibilities include identifying trends, preparing insights for leadership, and presenting findings in clear, accessible formats. The role also involves collaborating with society coordinators and other stakeholders to define data needs, improve processes, and support strategic planning through evidence-based recommendations.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Data Analytics to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
Solid understanding of Statistics for hypothesis testing, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
Experience with Data Modeling to design and maintain structured data frameworks that support reporting and analysis.
Effective Communication skills to present findings, create clear visualizations, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Interest in financial literacy, wealth management, and the Financial Services industry.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a collaborative academic environment.
