Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Leena Stores in Thrissur. This role supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including supervising staff, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring the store is clean, well-organized, and properly stocked. The Assistant Store Manager helps maintain high levels of customer service, resolves customer concerns, and promotes sales initiatives. The role involves monitoring inventory, assisting with merchandising, supporting retail loss prevention measures, and ensuring compliance with store policies and procedures. The Assistant Store Manager also contributes to training new team members and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Effective Communication skills, including clear interpersonal communication with customers and team members.
Experience or demonstrated ability in Store Management, including supervising staff and overseeing daily operations.
Awareness of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help safeguard inventory and maintain store security.
Basic knowledge of retail sales processes and inventory control is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Thrissur on a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in managing tasks and following procedures.
Prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred; relevant training or certifications in retail management are an advantage.
