Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based at our Ahmedabad headquarters. This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. The Junior Accountant will help prepare basic financial reports, support bank reconciliations, and ensure accurate documentation and filing of financial records. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders on billing, invoicing, and payment queries, while adhering to company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, including basic bookkeeping and ledger management skills.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel for spreadsheets, reports, and reconciliations).
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized financial documentation.
Good analytical and numerical skills to support reconciliations, variance checks, and simple financial analysis.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance team members and other departments.
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; internships or prior experience in accounting are an advantage.
Familiarity with Indian taxation basics, GST concepts, and statutory compliance in a corporate setting is beneficial.
