Role Description The Molecular Testing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. The specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting molecular test procedures, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all testing activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and handling specimens, performing tests according to established protocols, analyzing results, and maintaining detailed test case records. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating findings clearly, and following quality and safety standards in the laboratory. The specialist will also contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and support troubleshooting when test results fall outside expected parameters.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate test data, interpret results, and identify patterns or anomalies.
Candidates should possess skills in Testing and Test Cases to design, execute, and document structured molecular testing workflows.
Candidates should possess Software Testing skills to work with laboratory information systems or testing software used to track and validate molecular data.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with laboratory staff, share test outcomes, and prepare clear reports.
Relevant academic background in molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field (Bachelor’s or higher) is preferred.
Experience working in a clinical, research, or diagnostic laboratory environment with adherence to quality and safety guidelines is beneficial.
Attention to detail, ability to follow standardized protocols, and readiness to learn new molecular testing techniques are important.
