Role Description The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing engineering designs and drawings for cleanroom and related infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client specifications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing CAD models, coordinating with mechanical and electrical teams, preparing technical documentation, and supporting product design and customization for pharmaceutical and controlled environments. The role involves collaborating with project managers and cross-functional stakeholders to refine design requirements, resolve technical issues, and optimize solutions for performance, safety, and cost-efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular interaction with manufacturing, quality, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and design integrity.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core engineering disciplines, including Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D, detailing, and design review.
Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to building services, utilities, and controlled environments.
Experience in Product Design, particularly for industrial, cleanroom, or pharmaceutical infrastructure solutions.
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field from an accredited institution.
Ability to interpret technical standards, GMP guidelines, and industry regulations for highly regulated sectors.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and spatial design skills, with attention to detail and safety.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Experience with manufacturing processes, construction drawings, and site coordination is an advantage.
Familiarity with cleanroom design, HVAC systems, or pharmaceutical projects is preferred.
