Role Description The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at the Hetero Labs Limited facility in jadcherla. The role involves overseeing daily production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and meeting output and quality targets. The Production Supervisor will coordinate staff assignments, monitor equipment and process performance, and address operational issues to maintain smooth workflows. Responsibilities include implementing production plans, enforcing safety and compliance standards, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as quality, maintenance, and logistics. The role also involves training team members, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and reporting production metrics to management.
Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills with experience leading production teams and managing shift operations.
Ability to develop, manage, and optimize production schedules and production planning activities.
Knowledge of production management principles, including resource allocation, workflow optimization, and process control.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, providing clear instructions, and preparing reports.
Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments, with understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with production documentation and reporting systems.
