Role Description The DevOps Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kakinada. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable software releases. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and automating infrastructure, administering Linux-based systems, monitoring application and system performance, and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with development and operations teams. The role involves building and improving Infrastructure as Code workflows, enhancing deployment processes, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of production environments. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with software engineers to refine build processes and support continuous improvement of the platform’s reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience
Strong System Administration and Linux skills, with experience managing production environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices for provisioning and managing cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration concepts and tools, with the ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Software Development experience (any modern programming or scripting language) to create automation scripts and integrate DevOps tooling.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
Understanding of networking, security best practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document processes and configurations.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
Willing to relocate to Kakinada. Andhra Pradesh natives preferred for long-term association.
