Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ranchi. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed drawings and layouts for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include space planning, selecting finishes and furnishings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring designs align with client requirements, budgets, and timelines. The role involves site visits, measurements, supervision of installation work, and regular communication with clients and project teams to ensure smooth execution. The Interior Designer will also support project documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards within the firm.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E (fixtures, furniture, and equipment) selection, with the ability to create cohesive design concepts.
Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize functionality, flow, and user experience for different types of interiors.
Knowledge of Architecture principles to understand structural constraints and coordinate designs with built environments.
Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for contractors and vendors.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
Strong visual communication skills, including presentations, mood boards, and material boards.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, vendors, and on-site teams.
Prior experience in interior design projects, especially in residential or commercial
spaces, is an advantage.
