Head of Product Marketing/ Head of Marketing
Location: Mohali Experience: 8–12 years Reporting to: Group Leadership
About the Role
This role provides strategic marketing direction to two product companies within the group, sitting at the intersection of sales and marketing. You will translate products into compelling market propositions, drive go-to-market strategy, shape positioning and messaging, and equip the sales team with the narrative, content, and tools to convert opportunities into revenue.We're looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset - who connects marketing activity to pipeline and business growth, not just communication output.
What You Will Own
1. Product Marketing & PositioningDevelop differentiated positioning and value propositions across target segments
Translate product capabilities into customer-focused messaging and business outcomes
Define messaging frameworks, product narratives, and key communication pillars
Build and maintain product marketing playbooks
2. Go-to-Market Strategy
Drive GTM strategy for products, features, markets, and major releases
Work with Sales and Leadership to define target segments, personas, channels, and launch priorities
Build launch plans spanning digital, content, sales enablement, and demand generation
Measure launch effectiveness and refine GTM strategy based on market response
3. Market & Customer Research
Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitor research to surface trends, needs, and whitespace
Partner with Sales to capture customer feedback and market intelligence
Convert research into actionable recommendations for positioning and growth strategy
4. Sales Enablement & Revenue AlignmentBuild sales enablement assets: pitch decks, battlecards, case studies, solution briefs
Align Sales and Marketing on ICPs, messaging, campaigns, and lead quality
Track marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue — not just reach or engagement
5. Digital Marketing Ecosystem
Provide strategic direction to the broader digital marketing function, unifying product marketing, content, demand generation, performance marketing, SEO, CRM, and sales automation into one connected growth engine
Lead/manage a Growth & Demand Generation resource executing paid media, SEO/SEM, lead gen, landing pages, CRM/nurturing, automation, and performance reporting
Set strategic direction and priorities while execution stays aligned to business objectives
6. Product Launches & Campaigns
Own marketing strategy and narrative for product launches
Build integrated launch campaigns across content, digital, PR, sales, and demand generation
Coordinate stakeholders for launch readiness; analyze and optimize campaign/funnel performance
7. Content & Brand DirectionSet strategic direction for product content across digital channels
Identify content opportunities based on customer journeys and sales priorities
Guide the wider marketing team on narrative and ensure cross-channel consistency

What We're Looking For:-8–12 years in Product Marketing, B2B Marketing, SaaS/Technology Marketing, or Growth Marketing
Strong grasp of product positioning, GTM strategy, demand generation, and B2B buyer journeys
Track record of taking products/solutions to market, with strong commercial orientation
Experience partnering closely with Sales and Leadership
Ability to turn complex technology/products into simple, compelling customer propositions.
Strong market research and competitive analysis skills.
Experience managing or directing digital marketing resources.
Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, paid acquisition, CRM, marketing automation, and conversion funnels.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate across multiple businesses/products and bring structure to a growing marketing function.
