Role Description The Senior Interior Designer and Architect will lead the end-to-end design process for interior and architectural projects, from concept development to final execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, understanding project requirements, preparing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors. The role involves developing detailed drawings, overseeing site work, ensuring design quality, and resolving on-site challenges to maintain timelines and design integrity. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, requiring regular presence at the studio and project sites. The position also includes mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work, and contributing to design standards and best practices within the firm.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and coordination.
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Architecture to develop efficient, functional layouts and integrated design solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
Candidates should possess strong project management abilities, including time management, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and adherence to budgets and timelines.
Candidates should possess excellent visual communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail and material specifications.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline, along with several years of experience in interior projects, is preferred.
Experience leading teams, managing client relationships, and handling on-site execution in residential or commercial projects will be considered
